Dr. Alyssa Chambers serves as a faith-rooted licensed Mental Health First Aid provider, Certified Yoga Teacher, & Empowerment Coach (Coach ACE…Affirming Creative Expressions). She is the Founder & CEO of NOVA Essence Inside Out LLC (NOVA EssenceIO), an a creative wellness company empowering play through self-care, creativity, and community mindfulness. NOVA EssenceIO is committed to making self-care accessible, transformative, creative, and inclusive. Through NOVA's signature Pocket of Peace Coaching Framework, Mobile Candle Café, creative workshops, and community events, Dr. Chambers creates healing-centered spaces that blend mindfulness, creativity, and connection—serving diverse women, youth, & organizations across Long Island and New York City.

With over six years of candle-crafting experience and a strong foundation in trauma-informed and inclusive program facilitation, Dr. Chambers designs creative experiences rooted in affirmation practices, somatic flow and culturally responsive wellness. Her work blends empowerment coaching, candle-making, journaling, mindfulness, and sensory-based self-care to offer practical tools for stress relief, self-expression, and resilience. Especially for Black women and youth of color.

Professionally, Alyssa serves as an Assistant Vice President in Wealth Management Strategy & Initiatives at Morgan Stanley and is Co-Chair of Morgan Stanley’s NABA (National Association of Black Accountants). She also serves as Youth President at Westbury Divine Church of God. Alyssa earned her BBA from Pace University in Human Resource Management; Psychology and her MS in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College, bringing both purpose and excellence to every space she leads.
